Princess Pooh

Last night was dedicated to one stinker... tonight to my other stinker... Miss Princess Pooh! :) I got this cute picture tonight when we were playing on the deck. She LOVES to pose for the camera and give me cheesy smiles! This one turned out super cute!

I let Stinker #2 color with markers while I was doing dishes tonight - then I turned around to find her sucking on the black marker!!!!!! Nice! I'm pretty confident that Crayola has been around long enough though -- they KNOW their products get put in mouths, so I doubt there's anything TOO toxic in there! :)

We're in the beginning stages of getting rid of Jenna's nuk. Right now we're limiting it to bed time and long car trips. It's been quite a transition for her. She HATES having to leave the nuk in her bed after waking up in the mornings and after naps. Today was a little better... hopefully it will continue to get easier!

And to my great friend Amy.......

Congrats on your pregnancy! I'm so happy for you guys and wish you a healthy and easy pregnancy!! Can't wait for Baby B #2 to arrive!!

The Face of Innocence?

Is this the face of innocence? Hmmm....

How about this one?

Maybe this one??

Awwww... how about that one?

Well - he may look innocent, but he is a little prankster! His favorite thing to do is take Daddy's STINKY socks and stick them in my face!! He thinks it's soooooooo funny to get a reaction out of me and he will even try to get Daddy involved by helping him get the socks in my face! (I admit -- it IS pretty funny!)

Stinky, Stinky Socks.... YUCK! But I still love my prankster more than the world!!! :)

Weekend Fun

Although it rained a lot, we did have a great weekend and even got out to the driving range for the first time this year. We decided to go as a family.... might be the last time we do that. Jenna doesn't quite understand the concept!! :) Looks like Daddy & Bryce will be on their own for the rest of the Spring/Summer! Here are a few pictures from our driving range trip...
Bryce got a new black & gold golf bag (just like Daddy's) for Christmas! He REALLY feels special now! Especially since he can carry it like a backpack - like Daddy does!! :)
Trailing Daddy just a bit, but making it up this big hill carrying his bag with no problems!!

The signs said the driving range was CLOSED!! Oh no! Dad went in to ask if we could hit one bucket from the corner where it wasn't too wet! Thank GOODNESS they said yes! How could you turn down that face!!

Jenna had a great time playing with all the golf balls!

Bryce taking a swing!

Jenna practiced with a putter! Here she is putting a ball on her tee! :)

Our little golf pro! :)

Who is that goofy girl!?!?

The rain is clearing up!! When can we go outside Mom!?!?!

Ahhh - look at my two sweeties!

Adorable!!!!!!

Brother & Sister LOVE! How sweet!

Cool Dudes!

I also decided to take on a project of hanging up some of my Uppercase Living vinyl lettering things over the weekend. I had ordered them a LONG time ago! Ironically, my friend Darcy also mentioned this in her blog over the weekend. They are scary b/c what if I don't get it up straight? It can't be reused!! I've been waiting for my husband to do it for me, so that it would be his fault if it wasn't perfect! (heehee!) But I got tired of waiting and wanted to get one up. So I did the one for Bryce's room... Here's the before picture.

And here is the after! It looks pretty good. I will say... it's not perfect! It's a little crooked. But
it's still cool! I still have a couple more to do. But may wait to try to get husband to help out!! :)

St. Jude Trike-A-Thon

Bryce participated in a St. Jude Trike-A-Thon with his preschool friends! He had a GREAT time and so far has raised $315!! WOW!! GO BRYCE! (I'll update you all later on final numbers and how much the preschool raised... the numbers aren't calculated yet! :)

St. Jude Children's Hospital is awesome and we're proud to be part of this event! We've spent a lot of time explaining to Bryce the meaning behind the Trike-a-Thon and why he's raising money. Thursday we went to the doctor for Jenna to get shots and an ear check and Bryce told the doctor... "I'm doing a trike-a-thon to get money for the doctors at the hospital to make all the kids better. I can get YOU money too!!" haha! It was so cute! She got a kick out of that!!

Thank you SOO much to everyone that donated! Your money is going to a great cause and a wonderful organization!

Bryce finished 20 laps! I was a little worried when he told me his legs were tired after only 3 laps!! :) But he kept going... stopping after EVERY lap for a drink of water! After the Trike-a-Thon, Bryce's friend Victoria asked him to go out for ice cream and then play at her house! He was so excited and I was so greatful to Victoria (and her Mom Stacy) for taking Bryce out for a special treat b/c I had to get back to work.

Here are a few pictures from the Trike-A-Thon!

Rain Rain Go Away!

Rain, Rain Go Away
Come Again Some Other Day...

We're sick of the rain and ready for the nice weather that we're supposed to get later this week! I think we're all feeling couped up and need to open the windows again and get out to ride bikes and play baseball!

HURRY UP SUMMER!! :)

Here are some "fun" facts about rain:
Did you know that one inch of rain = 4.7 gallons of Water per square yard?

The world's heaviest average rain fall (about 430 inches) occurs in Cherrapunji, India, where as much as 87 feet of rain has fallen in one year.

Mt. Waialeale in Kauai, Hawaii, has up to 350 rainy days every year.

The wettest state in the United States is Louisiana, with annual rainfall of 56 inches.

Rainfall is classified as light if not more than 0.10 inch per hour, and heavy if more than 0.30 inch per hour.

All precipitation starts as ice or snow crystals at cloud level.

Freezing rain is rain that freezes as it hits the ground; sleet is frozen ice pellets.

Rain drops are not shaped like this , they are shaped like this as they fall.

The umbrella was originally intended for shade from the hot Egyptian sun.

Raindrops vary in size from 0.02 inch to about .031 inch diameter.

Big, heavy raindrops can fall at speeds up to 22 miles per hour!

Birthday Party...

Bryce & I went to his cousin's birthday party over the weekend. We had a great time --- just the two of us! We went on a little "date" to Applebees and then to the party. Here are a few pictures of the boys enjoying themselves!

It was fun to see Hayden having a great time with his friends! Bryce had a great time being creative and making his own shirt & hat! (And giving his uncle a hard time about the Cardinals!!)

On the way home, Bryce told me his favorite part of the day was going out to eat at the restaurant with me!!! AWWWWWWWW!! How sweet! My precious little boy.... :)

Little Girls Hair...

Jenna barely has enough hair to "play" with, but I've been having fun styling her hair lately. I finally got her used to wearing a barrette and she even started sitting still for me to put it in! Today I decided to try a new style... the pebbles look! Wow! First of all those tiny rubber bands are hard to maneuver with my fingers... and wrapping it around her 20 strands of hair multiple times is quite the task!! But it was worth it and she looks cute!! :)

Easter Fun

Happy Easter 2009!! What a wonderful (and busy) weekend! We enjoyed family time, birthday parties, Easter bunny visits, a trip to the farm and egg hunts! Here are a few of my pictures to recap the weekend! We hope you enjoyed your weekend as much as we did!
Jenna wasn't very fond of the Easter Bunny! She didn't want much to do with him!

We celebrated Hayden's 6th birthday this weekend! It's hard to believe he can already be 6 years old! Happy Birthday Hayden!

We also celebrated Demi's 1st Birthday! Sweet little princess has her first birthday! What a cutie!

The kids had a lot of fun together this weekend... here are a few pictures of them enjoying themselves...

But along with all the fun came a few tears... here are some I caught on camera!! :) Hee hee!

And we caught a couple really good pictures with Aunt Sonya!

Our family picture - Easter 2009!
